How to ask for Spiritual Assistance

Our K-12 and college education forgot to tell us something basic any child attending Christian Sunday school learns, “Jesus loves you and you can talk to Jesus any time you want to.”  Guess what?  This is not restricted to Jesus.

Any Being representing God & Loving to you can be petitioned for a hearing of your prayer.  The results can be surprising.  Was it Jesus who said, “You receive not because you ask not”?

The Muslims have it right

Did you know in the Islamic faith, the highest form of prayer for adults is to talk directly to God?  Not to talk to a priest, not to your minister—to talk directly to God, in person, and to do so privately.

Talking directly to God, without notes or rehearsal is one of my favorite things to do when I’m in a group situation where each person is asked to “check in,” to share what is going on with them of an inner nature.

Tithing is another way to “speak” to God

I also like tithing, donating money to the earthly source of my spiritual teachings.  People say this is a way to align my inner child with “working with God as my Partner.”  This works for me.  You can tithe any amount you wish to; the only “wrong” way is not to give anything at all.  Dedicated tithers know “tithe” means “10%.”

About ten years ago, I still felt incapable of asking for Spiritual Assistance.  What changed for me, moved me to an inner experience I could validate for myself–was gratitude, giving back to the Invisible Ones who were giving to me.  When I deliberately asked for a blessing to go to the Invisible Ones who were blessing me, I felt something come back inside me.  I could reproduce this experience so I knew I was not making it up.  I happened to have been in church at the time so may be this is a good place to try such experiments.

Inner responses come to you according to your self-sensitivity, which and how many sensory channels you have open and that your inner child is comfortable with.  That means by sight, by sound, by feeling, by taste or by a good smell.  Pay attention to any response that comes from inside you, above you or from the right side.  Those are the Ones aligned with your own individual Highest Good.

Because each person heals uniquely, don’t get hung up trying to work the way it works for others.  Find a sensory channel that works for you.

 A:  Sure.  I ask for the Highest God and Greatest Loving to send the Light and a spiritual healing to all those Spiritual Beings assisting right me now.
