How to do a Brain Hug on any two polarities

The “brain hug” is an idea from Edu-K and Brain Gym. The mechanics are this: hold your two hands out and apart. Slowly bring them together. At the end the fingers of both hands are interlaced.

The main activity is inner. Before you start, in your right hand you put the right-sided part you wish to converge with it’s left-sided counterpart. The left-sided part goes in your left hand.

You bring your fingers together slowly, only at the speed you can feel-hear-taste the two parts coming closer into relationship. Tell both parts at the end they will be in greater inner cooperation. Go slowly enuf that they can reorient themselves in the time permitted.

That’s the brain hug and it can be applied to brain hemispheres, digestive organs, shoulders, feet and so on. This hug imagery is useful to any two parts in the body you wish to converge. It works equally well for converging horizontal as well as vertical parts on opposite sides of the body; really, any two “polarities” of your own choosing.
